I have a friend, just a friend, but after time I have two feelings for her. One is she is still my friend and the other is I am in Love with her. I don't know which one of my feelings is from my heart and which one is from my head. I would like to follow the one which is from my heart.Thanks.

A "mechanism"? Sorry, there's not. :-) Wish it was that simple. :-) You either feel it out (heart) or you reason about it (head). Sometimes it's better to follow your heart rather than your head, sometimes your head rather than your heart. It depends on the circumstance. Give it some time, eventually you'll figure it out.

My problem is not in choosing the felling. What I would like to know is whether there is a mechanism to know which feeling is from your heart and which one is from your head.
