I went out with a guy for 2 weeks everything was giong good then one night he just said he wanted to break up. while we where giong out he said he liked me and cared about me and he wanted to do it when he did becuase he didnt want to hurt me more. I belive him, i mean the night we broke up he was the only one helping through it he stayed with me while i was giong through the pain. and even now its been a month and he wants me around and is telling my friends he still likes me. I belive that he isn't ready to commite to a relationship, he has had alot of s take advantage of him.He also dosen't really have to many people that care about him i mean his mom almost s him, and his dad died when he was 15.there is one main question i just want answered and that is if i give him time to get over the issues in his life that it might work out. I still feel the same way about him and i dont want to forget about him one thing he never done anything to entnitally hurt me, even the night we broke up i could tell it upset him that i was hurt. he didnt just leave me to deal with it alone.

I don't know what you mean when you use the single letter "s" to tell your issue here... so clearing that up may help.
Anyway, it seems as if this guy likes you and cares about you, but only as a FRIEND.
While that may be hard to take, I wouldn't wait for his life to "clear up" or see if he gets over his "issues" we all have things in our lives that aren't always the way we would want them to be or that we are not 100% happy with...
HOWEVER in this case, I think he just felt he see's you as his friend and didn't want you to get your feelings hurt later on.
