Just wondering... I've met this girl and we've been spending a lot of time together. Today we went out for all day, but then after 5 when I drove her home she got all quiet and seemed upset. I asked her what was wrong and she said that she wanted to be with me longer. I told her that we could go for dinner, but she said no, and asked me when she should call me. I told her tomorrow. But I'm just wondering how to tell her that I want to be with her more too, but I dont want to smother her, like what happened in my last relationship.

Just be honest. Tell her that you really feel for her but you don't want to smother her. Unless she likes being "smothered" she probably won't have a problem.
