Well I went to school since kindergarten wit this guy. And now he is back from school, and he is working where I work. he is the most handsome guy I have ever layed eyes on. The thing is, that we never realy talked in school, but he knows me and everything. I dont know how to initiate a conversation with him. I say hi to him all the time and he says hi back. And I am going off to school at end of summer he is deciding to stay home. Is it stupid to try and start something now? Do guys hate when girls ask them out??? please help..I know this is a simple and immature question but I really am clueless with all of this

Hmmm... well I'm not a guy so I can't say for sure but I don't think they hate it when a girl asks them out - some of them like a girl who's confident enough to take a chance - it takes some guts after all.
So... if it feels right & you have the esteem to do it - go for it! Too many people miss out on good things when they let fear take over so whatever you do - don't let that happen...
Don't put yourself down saying you're clueless - everyone gets nervous around someone they really like & I don't believe anyone is an exception.
First thing - have some confidence. Begin with "small-talk" - ask him how his day was, what his plans for today are, what he thinks of a film you're thinking of renting out. Stuff like that... easy stuff.
Then when the conversation becomes easier & you're on friendly terms - go ahead & invite him out someplace. Tell him you'd like to get to know him better. It sounds to me as though you have the bottle to be this forward and maybe he's cautious because he's thinking the same as you right now.
You'll be surprised at how much he'll open up to you if he likes you. Look out for the signs & flirt with him - it's what girls were made to do! Use some feminine charm!
You'll never know if you don't try so grrr... go get him tiger ;)
