me and this guy who i really ike talk on the internet almost everyday for a really long time we seem to have alot in common and he knows i like him, but im starting to get sick of the whole internet thing. so one day we were talking on the internet and i was feeling brave and asked him if he wanted to do something after his 4 day trip and he said "sure" then when i asked him what he wanted to do he said he diddnt care and he completely changed the subject. then about 20 mins later i said to him "you dont have to do something with me if you dont want to" and he said "what makes you thinki dont wanna do something with you?" and i said "you just dont seem into the whole idea" and he said "well i do wanna do something with you" but then right after he said that he said "but i gotta go ttyl" without even saying bye he usualy says my name and then "bye" ex. "bye nikki" but he diddnt and i know that he wasnt in a hurry to go somewhere cuz he came back online 5 mins later i just diddnt talk to him that time. so do you think i scared him away?, or am i making a big deal out of nothing?, i really want to have a chance with this guy.

Nikki, at this point you've put it out there for him you know?
You've made the offer, he seemed less than receptive...
HOWEVER... don't say things to him, like "you don't have to if you don't want to" because it makes it look like you cannot understand why he would want to...know what i'm saying?
Go after it with a different angle Nikki... have confidence in yourself girl! There isn't any reason this guy shouldn't be jumping on the chance to go out with you!

no thats the thing i diddnt meet him on the internet. he goes to my school but i was to shy to talk to him there. i told my friend who knows him a little that i liked him and she told him this. then he got my e mail addy from someone and he added me. hahah sorry i should have made myself a little clearer

Well, you met this guy on the internet right?
So all you really know about him is what he's told you...
With that said... it is entirely possible that it isn't that he doesn't want to meet you in person, and seems more probable that he may have given you information regarding himself that isn't accurate... see what i'm saying here?
I don't think you've done anything wrong... I think he knows he hasn't been upfront with you about himself and taking things to then next level of actually meeting... would scare someone who hadn't been honest.
If you choose to go ahead and meet him, please be careful... tell someone where you will be, and meet him in a public place...althought you feel as if you do know him, all you really know is what he has chose to tell you.
