What does it mean when a girl always has to mention her boyfriend? I've worked with this girl for the past three summers. Last summer our friendship almost made it to the next level but we both left for school in the fall before anything could be consummated. She returned this summer with a boyfriend and whatever we had appeared to be over. The confusing part is that she continues to flirt with me and she knows that I still like her. What I am asking is: Is she using this supposed boyfriend as a jealousy ploy or is she always working him into the conversation to keep me at a distance?

Regardless if she has a boyfriend or not... she obvioulsy likes to flirt with you... but it could be and sounds as if that is all it is to her... flirting.
She is letting you know, that she enjoys the attention she is getting from you... but putting you on notice as well that she is with someone else.
If I were you, I would probably ignore her more and really get to her by asking her a whole bunch of questions about her new dude... lol in soooo many ways it puts her on notice as well, that you're all good with it, know what I mean? Maybe then, she will get the hint, and stop doing it.

look i think see jus wants to rub it in that she has a man and u don have a woman. Some gurls r jerks like that and i think u should comfront her on tha subject ok but thats my opinion so do what u want ok. hope it works 4 u.
