I been spending a lot of time with a guy, we get on really well and all the rest.
Basically, I thought that he might like me... Thought I was catching looks and we seem to seek each other out whenever we at the same place...
Then, got quite drunk last night - thought he was showing interest... so i made a move and he was obviously uncomfortable... the thing I want to know is if i have ruined a good friendship that was never going to be anything else? or was he uncomfortable with me being drunk (hardly classy i know)

It's difficult to say for sure - Sam's proposals are good though - he could just be shy, he might not be ready for anything more just yet, perhaps he'd prefer to get to know you better or you might have interpreted these signals as more than they really were...
Whatever the reason have a little more confidence, approach him when you haven't had a drink; flirt with him & observe how he reacts. If the signs look good, make your move then. That way you'll be better prepared to make the right decision; as you'll have a clear mind to decide what he might want from you.

LOL, I don't know why he didn't give into the move you made... maybe he's shy, maybe he's not ready, maybe he wants to get to know you more. OR -- maybe he just wants to be a friend. OR maybe he really is gay. LOL, just give it more time, you'll eventually get the answers you seek.
If anything, why not try to make a move on him while you're sober? If he turns you down again, then perhaps he only likes you as a friend. Give it a shot, what do you have to lose?
