Sam's right, you can't change the way someone feels about you --- especially when it comes to love. I don't think it would be wise for me to try and tell you how to convert someone's feelings. You can only be yourself when searching for a lifelong partner. It would be very uncomfortable trying to be somebody else throughout your life just to be with this guy. If he don't have any romantic feelings for you as you are, then he's not for you. What more can I say? You said that you've become depressed after learning how he feels about you. You should seperate yourself a good-bit from this guy for that reason. Being around someone you really like (rather love) who don't have mutual feeling only can cause more problems for you. You surely don't want to stick around to hear him say "I want you to meet my new girlfriend", do you? No you don't. In fact you would from even having the thought in your head. That's the best advice I could give you, Nancy. Just go out and have fun. There are plenty of nice guys out who would love to take his place.

Well, Nancy -- you can't make a guy want to have a relationship with you. If he's not interested in having a relationship with you, he's not interested. Don't despair -- there are other fish in the sea. Keep on swimmin'. :-)
