Is it allowed or possible for a woman to propose to a man? Or is it always the men who get to decide? thanks

Well, let me put my 50cent in on this. First of all it would be the greatest feeling ever thought of to have a woman to propose to me. I mean come on, she must really love you to initiate the proposal -- point blank! And if I really love her to DEATH, it would feel even better to hear. Think about people; a woman initiating? Damn she'd be a good wife. In fact, if a woman for some reason out of the blue propose to me, I would probably accept it -- no matter how she looks (maybe). But there are always two sides to the story. Some guys wouldn't feel right if you were to propose. They feel like it's their job to do so. He may feel like you've done his number one job in a relationship. This can stick with him for years (if not life). I could also imagine looking back and remembering that my wife was more aggresive than I; proposing to me instead of it being the other way around -- as if I was incapable of making the moves myself. But whatever you feel is right is what you should do. Depending on his personality, he might not mind. Good Luck... Until George Bush kills us...

Yup, it's the 21st century girl!
Having said that though, I'm traditional - so personally, (if the Lord has this for me in His plan...), it would be preferable to experience the whole "down on one knee" thang :)
But hey, if it feels right do it... whatever floats ya boat!

Mi,
Yes it is allowed and possible for a woman to propose to a man.
It isn't done as often as the other way around... but I know there are women who have done so...
