I posted a question awhile back called "why is he so confusing?" thanks so much for everyone who gave me input on what to do. this kid is 17 but is acting like he's 12. as much i like him, it hurts to much to wait and hold on to him. Really my heart is telling me to hold on to him for some reason, and i'm really not sure why. we are going no where. but i compare every guy to him which makes this very difficult to let go of him. He is my best friend, and is probably sick of me bringing "us" up. i haven't really told him much i mostly just asked him what happened and that's when he told me to wait. He doesn't even know how much i care about him, but i'm scared to death to tell him. i would much rather just move on. How do i do this? I really need help this whole thing is killing me. There is just something about him i just can't let go of. Please help me!

Hi anonymous,
Well, it'll be pretty hard to just let go if a part of you tells you to stay, don't you think? This is a nice time to sit down and communicate with him. Talk to him about EVERYTHING on your mind -- I mean everything! Sit and let him talk too; find out what he really wants. If he's willing to give it another "round" and sharpen up, why not stick around. I'm sure he'll spend time to talk to you if he's really interested.
However, if you decide to move on after talking to him, avoid him; what more can I say? There's no magic in it, nor any better advice. Time will heal all as you progress. In the mean time, hang with your friends and have fun; meet new(other) people to speed the process. You heard it all...
