Sorry but she is 14 years old, and while I understand that maybe she isn't really outgoing and maybe even is shy, she is also immature.
If she is that uncomfortable having a phone conversation and she gets her friends on the phone to talk to you, then maybe it isn't that she is just shy, she isn't mature enough to be in a "relationship"
Again, I understand that perhaps she isn't certain of what to say, or whatever. BUT why did she agree to be your girlfriend is this is that difficult for her, why not just stay friends for now until or unless there comes a time that she is comfortable enough to at least carry on an intelligent phone conversation, sheesh.

That is perfectly normal for her, it is just hard for you. cuz when i really liked a guy when i was 14 i was the exact same way. Just give it sometime things will get better. she will grow to be more comfortable around you. Maybe try telling her that you really like her, and you want her to be able to tell you anything. Girls get really nervous about what to say cuz that don't want to sound dumb. and they are trying to impress you. but ya know you are already impressed because if you weren't you wouldn't be going out with her. just let her know how you feel, and then give it some time, everything will work out for the best. hope i helped.
