About four months ago i left one state and moved to another. i was going out with someone back then and things didnt go so well. ever since i moved to ohio with my parents i only kept contact with my ex boy or how ever you want to call it. i have this one guy friend who i always been talking to on the phone and he keeps telling me that he likes me and he likes talking to me, he told his family about me and that im the only one he wants to marry. but all that drama i dont care. he knew that i was going with my ex boy before and now im really confused becuase im not so in love with my ex bf and now that i moved to ohio my friend also moved, my guy friend says he wants to see me and he says that he loves me and text messages me on my cell and calls me continuosly to talk to me i dont know what to do becuase everything seems so unreal to me. what ever happend between my and my ex how can i repeat the same story over again. im afraid of loving my freind being hurt and afraid of hurting that person also. my ex.. i guess he used me as a toy only for his pleasure.. not commitment no compromise no marrige how long can i go on with my ex b.f by talking to him on the phone. n my friend what i do with him he knows i dont want to sell my body the only thing im thinking right now he either marry's me or forgets me, not now but later i want that kind of committment if he wants to keep a relationship then he has to marry me coz i dont have anytime right now to play peekaboo i love u. i had tragic moments in my life not any more baby. how do i know my friend really loves me and not playing with me just to get me? and plus im not so serious becoz i dont know yet if people are fake or just telling the truth. i really am waiting for an urgent reply becoz i dont know what i am doing. sorry if i dont make any sense, im so confused! i heard that guys only try to get girls to sleep with em. but i dont know if my guy friend is bullshiting by trying to sleep with me.

Sorry but not all guys say these things just to get what they want. It's only the guys who don't truly have interest. It may be kind of hard for you to judge his level of interest but there is a simple solution that will never lead you in the wrong direction. Ever heard that "love takes action"? That's it -- nothing more.
"Love" is an action word and don't you ever forget that. So my question to you is: How does he express his love for you? And sitting on the phone lying definately aint the answer. You have to feel loved(by him) in order to believe it, which may explain why you're in doubt -- end of discussion; you heard it all...

How old are you? You sound pretty young, like still in high school?
If your goal is to only be with someone in an intimate way, if the promise of marriage is there, then why not just wait until you actually are married regardless of what the guy says or promises to you? This would be a far better way to know IF he is serious regarding all he has offered and said.
If you're still in high school, then I've got to tell you Maria, you are going to meet a lot of people before you find the one who is right for you, and that is just the natural progression of life. IMHO high school is to early to decide who you will choose for the rest of your life, as you haven't even begun the rest of your life at this point.
The Ex boyfriend.... you know at this point I would chalk it up to a "learning experience" and leave him alone.
The friend.... he sounds like he really likes you, and there isn't any thing wrong with that. However LOVE is a pretty strong word and again IMHO gets thrown around far to easily even when it isn't meant.
Take your time here Maria.... don't feel rushed or pressure to do anything. You've got a lot of time to decide what is right for you, and whom is right for you.
Don't compromise what you believe in for anyone.
