Its me again. This is quite a contrasting problem to the lsat one.. but it is also something i have been thinking about.
I broke up with my ex about 5 months ago. And i really thought i was over him, we were together 2 years. But lately, ive had some spare time to think. Ive realised im not over him, its just that my life has been so hectic, i havent had time to wonder about him, or even how i myself am feeling.
Its hard, as i still have contact with him. I would like to move on, but this guy will ALWAYS have a place in my heart, as he was my first TRUE love. When i told him i loved him, i meant it 100%. More than ever before.
He wouldnt take me back now, and i know that. I dont want him back. The way we finished was so quick, i need closure. Ohh im in a complete mess arent i!! :o)
Anyway, if u can help, please do
Thank You
Keeli x

If you want to get over him, you have to stop talking to him, so you CAN forget about him and move on.

Keeli, 5 months is a pretty fair amount of time for things to have ended in the relationship... I don't know what the circumstances of the break up were... but it seems it was kind of mutual then and from what you've said is mutual now that it is for the best.
I don't know how this guy would now feel about talking with you regarding the relationship the two of you had... again I don't know the circumstances of why the break up occured... so IF you feel he wouldn't object to talking then by all means do so.
If you feel however that he probably doesn't want to discuss this with you... then you have a couple of options, you can write him a letter and send it OR you can write him a letter and NOT send it... but at least it might make you feel better.... I advise the second option if this is the route you have to take.
