there's this guy i see every week. i've been taking his writing class for a few months now. i don't really know much about him but he seems like a nice person. we haven't gone out or anything but he has invited me out with friends and we've seen eachother outside of class a few times. during class, he would joke around with me or pick on me in front of the whole class. I just laugh and take it because i know he's just kidding around. i just want to know what this all means. why does he do that? why am i the only one he picks on? is he interested in me or something? i've caught him out a few times..staring at me. he hasn't said anything to me so i just want to know if he's trying to say something. help!

I think you know this already & you're just looking for an outside perspective on things. He's quite obviously flirting with you so you should try to have more confidence in yourself!
If you dig him, flirt back - maintain that eye contact with him. Try to get to know him better. Being confident is often a very attractive quality in a person, so take his compliments, his stares & his toying & let him know that you're also interested... easy as pie :)
