There is a girl in my class that i've had a crush on for quite a while, i'd say about a year or so. I've known her for two, although we havn't ever really had a conversation about anything other than little stuff "like what did you do on your weekend."
Anywayz, my another friend, that was in the girl that i like and my class last year, told me earlier, that she heard form another one of her friends that the girl i like has had a crush on me since last year.
1. should i trust this info, seeing as it's comin from a bunch of gossiping girls? 2.how should i go about seeing if its true?
I know you all are probly thinkin "just go and ask her", but I really really really like this girl, and i don't want our friendship to die out, or be akward if the relationship goes bad. By the way, i'm 16, if that helps with the feedback.
thanks, ~Andrew~

Andrew, go with your instincts on this one. Use your own mind - you can tell if someone is interested in you without having to consult the local gossips...
As for ruining the friendship, if it's a strong friendship there's no reason to think it would be left in tatters. You should be able to say anything & if, in the worst possible situation, she wasn't to feel the same way you could say that you understand & that whilst, of course, you are disappointed you very much value her friendship & wouldn't want to lose that.
Some people think you can't keep a friendship after such a declaration but I disagree. The key is acceptance, not to make her feel anxious, not to make her feel as though any affection she showed previously as a friend would be incorrectly interpreted as a green light for anything more if she were to do it now :)
Tell her how you feel. Only then will you know for sure, don't waste anymore time. If it pays off whahey! If it doesn't, you can move onto pastures new knowing that you didn't waste anymore time on something which wasn't meant to be.
