Title: What's wrong with this picture, if anything?

By: kz34

I recently started dating a guy I met at school. He is everything I have ever wanted in a guy: he is smart, funny, caring, and good looking to top it all of with a cherry. I fell in like with him very fast due to his friendly nature. Due to the fact I don't believe in holding back or hiding your feelings, I stepped up and told said man how I felt. He smiled, and told me knew exactly how I felt, because he shared my feelings exactly. So now it is concluded that the both of us are more than interested in each other, but all we are doing is dating (not exclusively thugh). Not bad, I enjoy the fact that we are moving slowly, my only problem is the fact that he has this need to date other girls (namely only one other girl). He gushes about how special I am to him, yet he dates someone else? We have gotten physical, so I am left to wonder, am I a booty call or could he just feel strongly for more than one girl? Help!

He's everything you've ever wanted in a guy... and he's playing the field. :-)
Are you okay with sharing this guy with other girls? Because he isn't going to change... at least not any time soon.

At least he's being honest with you, I'll give him that.

He isn't ready to have a commitment, and he wants to play the field. And there's nothing wrong with that, he's being upfront with you. What matters here is what you are okay with.

If you are fine with just dating and having a good time, then this would be ideal for you and you could still pursue other guys. If you want something exclusive, then my suggestion is to move on.

I know that's probably want you don't want to hear -- but whatever you do, don't sell yourself short, and don't settle for less than what you desire in a relationship. Respect yourself above all. If he can't give you a commitment, then it's his loss, right?
