My ex-boyfriend and I broke up about 2 weeks ago and at first I was a mess. But now I am okay because I realize he wasn't who I thought he was or even worth my time. The word got back to me that he spent the night with a girl at a nearby college and we had sex after that one more time. I just had to confront him. Of course, he lied. So I just sucked it up and promised myself I would try not to think about or talk to him anymore. But when I see him around campus, he always cuts his eyes at me. He is constantly just around at random times. There is this guy that I have been kicking it with for about a week and he seems to just hang out in my new friend's dorms. I am trying to get completely over him and this new guy is fun to be around. I have no intentions of making him my new bf. But even if I was it really isn't his business. He is having a great deal of bad luck since our breakup from what one of his friends told me. I don't feel sorry for him and I shouldn't. What goes around comes around.
Am I wrong for kicking it with and talking to this new guy. I already told him I am getting out of a relationship and that I don't want a bf, that I'm not getting physical with him and he is cool with that. If I just sit aroung and do nothing all the time, then I will probably think about my ex. Am I wrong? Is it too soon?

I don't think that you are doing anything wrong...you told this guy your situation and have been totally honest with him and its his choice to stick around...I think that you are doing very well...just go out and have fun girl...guys are not even worth it...everytime you see him around campus and he looks at you just think damn I know I look good and remember that he is the one who screwed up and lost you!!!

You're not in the wrong, because you're not with your ex anymore. Hence -- why you call him an EX.
However -- make sure you're taking care of yourself here. Don't sleep with some guy just to get over an ex. Go out with your friends, have a great time, keep busy. In due time, you will get over him more and it will get easier.
