Well... 3 years ago (our 8th grade year) I started dating this girl, and we stayed together for a little over a year, and broke up our freshmen year of High school. I'm a junior now and I thought this girl (who goes to my church, and is also a freshmen at my school) really liked me so I asked her to the prom, but she started acting like she wasn’t interested at all. And I know that I should have thought this through, but I didn’t. Anyways... I still feel something for my ex, and have since I broke up with her 2 years ago. Anyways... I wrote her a letter w/ this great poem too, and she said she would "think about it" I know she needs time to think, and i'm more than welcome to give her time to. But I'm afraid that she said that b/c I’m already goin to the prom w/ another girl, and we talked about this, and I told her I was goin to keep my promise to that girl and still go to the prom w/ her (cause it’s the right thing to do). Do I have some kinda problem or something? How long will she need to "think"? I know that "actions speak louder than words" So I need some ideas for something I can do to WOW her! I've made a HORRIBLE mistake!

I think u sound really sweet..anywayz 2 the point-I guess all u can do is give ur ex some time 2 think. U know u cant MAKE her be with u and love u if she really dont want to. Now im a bit confused..u asked a different gurl to the prom? U thought she liked u and seems that she is no longer interested?? rite! Well u say u want to keep ur promise to her but if shes not bothered, in a sense, id be honest and tell her that u want to get back with ur ex and that ur prom date is off! Sounds blunt, lol but if my ex was takin another gurl out and he still wanted me, i wouldnt really beleive him ya know?? Forget ur promises and move foward and get the gurl u love..good luck

I forgot to mention something very important about the girl i wanna get back together with. we were like best friends after we broke up. She can also read me like a book, b/c i say strange things that most ppl dont get, but she knows what im sayin before i say it.
