okay i have a best friend that i spend at least 6 days a week with and he spends 75% of the time making me feel like we are more than just friends. He hugs, dotes on me, whispers in my ear, and says nice things about me. He told me we are just friends and thats all we will ever be but i get mixed signals. He knows I love him so much but says he doesn't feel that way about me. When I make up my mind to try to move on and some other guy hits on me and gives me presents, he goes out and buys me jewerly or another nice present and gives it to me right before I make up my mind to go out with the other guy. For Valentines Day he gave me two charms, (for a charm bracelet he gave me for Xmas that only has charms on it about stuff he and I had done together), a pair of fuzzy boots, and a pink heart shaped box of chocolates. My mom says she never had "friends" buy her stuff like that! So what is going on? HELP! MIXED SIGNALS!!

Well, that's a good question as to why he does those sort of things. My advice is just to enjoy it, but don't get your hopes up. If he wants to be your boyfriend, he will let you know.
