My bf of 13 months and me got into it last night. I started playing wit him (tickling, laughing, cuddling) b/c he was in a bad mood. He then started to crack jokes on me. His roommate was there. It was like 1am. Then I came back at him with jokes. So I was about to go to sleep and he was still playing, pinching me on the butt. I said "stop playing with me booty" loudly but in a joking way. He instantly got mad and didn't want me to talk or touch him the rest of the night. I keep touching him just to make him mad and he kept trying to stop me from touching him. We did this for like 10 minutes. Then he let me touch him on the arm. We stayed like that for like 5 minutes until he roughly threw my hand off his arm. I pushed him and said f*** you and took all the cover. He took my pillow. After 5 minutes he gave me the pillow and he went to sleep. I stayed up a while b/c I was mad at how serious and mad he got at a joke. This morning after he came back from class, I was still sleep. He came in and saw me and left out immediatley. I seen him twice after that and he is still mad.
This is like the 3rd time this has happened and I'm fed up with his mood swings. We have planned to be together in the future and even though I love him to death I feel disrespected or that something else is going on. It's okay for me to be the butt of jokes but not him. Some of you may feel like this is not a real problem but this is very important to me. I deserve to be with someone who doesn't give me the cold shoulder for no reason. Should I end it or try to work it out.

This should be in the teen section.
To be honest, it sounds like he isn't the only one with these "mood swings". You have a bit of a hot head, too. It's really not cool for you to tell your boyfriend "**** you". If you really think you deserve someone who doesn't give you "the cold shoulder", wouldn't you think your boyfriend deserves someone who talks to them more respectfully? Ever think that your boyfriend's feelings may have been hurt? Remember these magical words: I'M SORRY. Try saying it sometime.
I think if you both want to salvage this relationship -- it's time to grow up and stop acting like you're five. I say it's time to get out of the playpen, work on communication, and treat people with respect.
