I have known my best friend since 5th grade. We became close in 9th grade, and he has been my best friend throughout most of highschool. We have a very complicated relationship, i'm crazy about the kid, but things never seem to work about between the two of us.
I am currrently dating another guy. who honestly treats me like a princess. his name is Greg. He does everything right. but something is definitly missing with him. when my best friend, josh calls me i get really excited, if i get to see him for just a few minutes i would take it in a heartbeat, for example the first time me and josh held hands i was walking on air for like a week. but with greg its not like that at all, something is definitly missing. this may sound horrible but its almost as though I'm settling for him, since things haven't worked out with josh. Lately Josh has started to call me all the time, even right after we hang out, he will call me after that and we will talk for about an hour. I love every minute of it. He always seems to want to know exactly what is going on between me and Greg.
Right after me and Greg hooked up. josh told me that he has always had feelings for me, but i seem to move on before he gets the chance to do anything about it. which frustrated me, cuz i swear i have given him plenty of chances. but now that i think about it i did tend to pretend to move on since nothing was happening, josh is so frutrating, but i can honestly say i love him. he started asking me if i liked anyone else besides greg. I really want to tell him, but i'm afraid of his reaction when he finds out its him. we were hooked up for awhile last summer, and i loved every minute of it. its different with josh i don't need him to hold me and kiss me i'm happy just being with him.
I'm planning on breaking up with Greg, and not just because of josh. We are graduating soon, and josh is going away to school. Should i tell him how i really feel? or hope my feelings for him will go away after he leaves for school?

you gotta do what's right for you, girl. Even if Josh turns out to be a better friend than a boyfriend, its ok, nobody's perfect and everybody makes mistakes. I'd say you should tell Josh EXACTLY how you feel about him because trust me, you don't want to go on living your life with "what if's" hanging over your head-you know what I mean? It's better to end it with Greg sooner rather than later, and sure-he might get hurt, but doesnt everbody eventually? he'll move on. Good luck!!!
