I know this may sound like the same old, "I like him but, he's older and ladeedaa." so be prepared.
He's 16 & I'm 14. It's so hard to talk to him even though I see him a lot at least 2 days a week & we will attend the same school soon. In fact, HE's rather shy but, I honestly don't know what to say to him. & when I'm around him the whole blushing thing comes along.
Oh, it gets a tad worse. See, he's black & I doubt my Dad will allow if a relationship were to happen. I know you might respond with.."if it ends up to be true love then go for it no matter what your Dad says." but, my Dad is different. He's not one to make upset. ya feel me?
Any suggestions?

Well now. Just because you're dad is not one to get upset, don't get mad at him. Only because maybe that he does'nt see things his way and only get's furious if he thinks this is not normal. Trust me, I had a dad just like this. If I were to date a black girl, he would freak. They just do that. But let me tell you something. MAKE THE RELATIONSHIP WORK. Don't worry about your dad. He probably does'nt know about the guy you like, that's providing you didn't tell him right? and yes I think you should go for the relationship. Explain to your dad the relationship. He should'nt be a racist guy himself about this. So if you think you can't work this out, then try not to. Don't dissapoint anyone dealing with the realtionship. So take my advise and Good luck.
