well theres this guy ive known him for 6 years, we attended school together and we were close friends before we dated and that went on for three months.when we broke up it wasnt like an actual break up - he just stopped speaking to me. we avoided eachother for a while and then became friends again after i went to another school ( that happened a year after we "broke up"). ive never stopped feeling the way i do about him - ive had other boyfriends and i have one at the moment but the feeling for him is too overwhelming...i really dont know what to do - we are pretty close friends today and we chat say once every two weeks or so. PLEASE HELP ME!!i cant stop feeling this way - its been 4 years now and i still love him. what am i supposed to do now? i cant even explain what it feels like when i see him or when he speaks to me - i trust him with my life...is there anythng i can possibly do to solve the situation? please let me know...thanks!

I generally don't answer teen questions, but since this is in the general section, I'll give you my input.
The thing is, you're young, and you should be dating several boys casually. You learn a lot socially from dating, just make sure you behave yourself. (Realize your potential and don't become a statistic!)
Anyway, in regards to your situation... I could play devil's advocate and assume that you did something wrong to this lad, which would explain why he dropped you like a hot potato (like, say, you did to him what you're doing to your new guy)... but if you really DIDN'T wrong him, and he really DID just dump on you for no reason --in that case, I guess you could say I'm irritated to hear you say "you trust this guy with your life", when this guy completely discarded you. Sure, he may be soooooooooooo cute, but let's face the facts: It doesn't seem to me that this fellow is interested in having a relationship with you, or date you. Personally, I don't think you should even waste your time on somebody like him. If you insist on talking to him, maybe ask him why he ignored you for so long. If he is a friend, he'd explain it to you. I think you should forget about this guy. It sounds like there's a nice fellow you're dating at the moment, why not give him a chance?
Lastly, you might want to re-think about who you REALLY trust in your life. Trust is something that's earned, not to be given away on a platter.
