hi im alex and im a 16 year old male. to keep things breif.. i have the most wonderful girlfriend ever! she brings out the best in me! we have been best friends since grade school and have been dating for the past 2 years. we have a healthy relationship but havent done anything past making out. my problem is...
i constantly get harrased my all of my male friends. even my closest friends make fun of me for not having sex with her. i cant argue because we dont really do anything physical. i dont think either of us wants to have intercourse yet, because ultimately we are still friends first, and lovers second. i dont want to ruin that or make her think im a jerk. i treat her like a princess and she tells me that. i would love to take our relationship a step further, but... im wondering...
(A) how can i tell if she is ready too?
(B) what are some things we could try?
(C) will this hurt our relationship?
(D) will this make the harrasment decrease?

dont get sucked into that peer pressure. how many guys are willing to wait for the girl they love? its not about quantity, its about quality. if you really care for this girl, you should have a problem waiting. but talk to her, without making her feel pressured. ask one question. if she answers, great! you'll know how she feels and yall can go from there. its not cool to pressure a girl into having sex. just being that age has its own pressures.

No matter what your friends say its always better to wait. You will thank me when you get older. You should save yourself for your wife, it should be something special, not saying that your girlfriend isn't special, but it should be saved for your wife. It can ruin your relationship really quick. You may think you will marry this girl some day but only time will tell. Just ignore your friends if they were friends they wouldn't be so mean and they aren't exactly the best people to hang out with to get that kind of negative peer pressure.
