My boyfriend of a year and a half moved away a month ago. he broke up with me before he left saying that he diddnt want a relationship right now and that he diddnt love me as much as he used to. since he is comming home in 3 months i told him i wouldent start seeing anyone else until he came home in case he changed his mind and wanted me back. but recently i have been talking to this guy, ive known him for a while and we talk at parties and stuff and hes really sweet. he gave me his e mail address so we talk on msn and text message each other and sometimes talk on the phone. im starting to like this new guy but its hard to immagine mysef with anyone but my ex since he was my first boyfriend. i still talk to my ex on the phone occasionally and he stil doesnt want me back. so do you think i should see what happens with this new guy or wait for my ex to come home?

I once held on to a person I was in love with. All they did was continue to hurt me. Once I took everyones advice I moved on,didnt talk to my ex and ended up finding someone I became in love with like never before. Dont jump into another relationship right away. Just get to know some people. Don't wait for your ex to come home, it sounds like he isnt waiting for you. You deserve to be happy. Hang out with family and friends and eventually start dating new people. You will look back on this someday and laugh for feeling the way you did. This will only make you stronger. if your ex is plainly stating he doesnt want you back, then its time to try and move on. this new guy sounds sweet. but you're obviously still hung up on your ex. take the time to get over your ex. dont start a new relationship when you're not over the last. but keep in touch with your new guy. just be honest with him and tell him you're not ready yet. you need closure, time to heal.
