Title: long distance relation

my problem is that I started dating this guy from an online dating service and he lives 4 hours away from me. We have been out 3 times and we fell in love with eaach other. i live in NYC he lives ustate NY. We always talked about possibly forming a relationship even if we were distant.

The problem is that now this guy is having financcial problems and is looking to move to Maryland, I noticed that he has been distant not calling me, and i found out that he was in Maryland looking for work over there, and so he felt that it might not work and that we should be friends. I know that this won't work if he moved but i felt like i wAnted to hold on to himand so i had told him that icannot see him as a friend because i have feelings for him still. I asked him if he still h as feelings and he said yes and when i had asked him if there is apossibility of a relationship, he says possibly yes,so i am confused there

he still tends to be alittle distant but i guess it is because he just wants to move on and I feel that is should. based on our conversation he is not sure what he wants now andi also must say thathe is divorced and has 2 kids and so he has told me that he is afraid of getting hurt,

the only thing that confuses me is that we have been chatting online these past few days aand has been talking about sex i am confused because if he wants to move on and doesn't want to commit, why talk about having sex with me, that would be more painful to be talking about that when there is no possibiltiy of a relationship and I certainly don;t want to dooit if it is not going anywhere. Please help
