I have fallen in love with a friend that until recently was single. She has been seeing her new boyfriend for only a few weeks but I never told her how I truly felt. I want to tell her how I feel, however I don’t want to hurt her in anyway or destroy the friendship we have.

To: Tex84 From someone who has been there, I can honestly tell you please stay friends with her. No matter how much you feel about her. You can love a friend. You can tell her you really care about her, even love her, but don't ask her out. You'll both save your good friendship alot of hard times by not going through a break up. Stay friends with her and it could last for many more years. If you date her understand that the break up will be different and you two won't talk for days, weeks or even months and trying to be friends again will take alot of work and in the long run your new friendship with your ex might last a few weeks, months or short years. Just my advice. Good luck.
