Title: College

By: catherine4125

I'm so confused right now... I've been dating this wonderful boy for a few awhile now, and everything seems to be going just fine.

But, a few nights ago, we started talking about the future. Not marriage or anything too serious, but the future none the less.

He's going to be a senior this year, but I'm only going to be a junior... So, the dilemma is this...

What will happen when he graduates?

He brought up a very interesting point: if we are just going to break up at the end of the year, what is the point of going out at all?

but, i really don't feel like that. personally, i think that high school relationships in general should be more laid back... kind of how elementary school is more laid back than middle school.

but, i don't know how to tell him that. or how to tell him that i don't want to break up... how am i supposed to do this? is there any way for us to stay together when he is in college and i'm in high school? all odds against us, usually, but i really love him, and this would be a horrible way to go.

any help is most welcome, thanks

Dear Catherine,
I totally understand that your confused. If you really feel that way...then tell him that you love him..straight out. Tell him " i love you. and i know you are going to college sooner than we think, but i trust you, and maybe we can work something out when you go, so we can see ech other, i really lov and i dont want to see this relationship end..." That's my point of view...

Sincerly,
AskBecky
