there is this guy he is amazing! He's the sorta guy that doesn't see how great he is we have such a gd time together we fall asleep in each others arms and I feel so safe. We could talk all night and never get bored, or just say nothin and just watch tv and never feel uncomfotable. The thing is we have kissed and he was about to ask me out when he changed suddenly and said he wasn't ready for a relationship but he does like me. I saw him once after that and then we didn't really speak for ages and I randomly messaged him on myspace to see how he was doing. We decided to meet up again just as mates and went for lunch where he was flirting with me i.e. poking me in the stomach and tickling me etc... he does things like that and i got a bf to try and get over him kinda thing I told him that i dumped my bf but thats not v.intresting and he said I think it's intresting because wouldn't you want to know if I got a gf like id want to know if you got a bf. Now that's just really confusing?! does he still like me or is he just being friendly?! His reason for not being ready for a relationship is his last gf f**ked him up but that was 3 yrs ago for 8 months! I just can't get him outta my head and I don't know what to do... im sorry my question is so long.

Your advice was brillant and I was going to follow it until he e-mailed me just to see how I was and at the end of the e-mail he said this quote: And don't worry about the text. It doesn't matter. Either he is not interested in you, or he is thinking about it. Either way you should move on. If he is interested he will ge a hold of you.

well i text him yesterday saying do u ever wonder what would have happened if we had got together and I know he hasn't got any credit but he has been on myspace since and he usually leaves me a lil comment just to say hi now nothin I reakon from my text he realises that I like him... as he hasn't said hey to me even though he has left other ppl msgs does that mean he doesn't like me like that and doesn't want to lead me on?

It sounds like a direct approach might be best. Ask him if he has moved on yet and is maybe ready for a relationship? Then if he says yes, tell him good because you wouldn't mind being his girlfriend ... if he was interested. See what happens.
