my best friend babysits for a family who she's been close friends with for many years. There is a bit of a gap between the father and her, and they are kinda having an affair. She doesn't know what to do because they both want it to stop for obvious reasons but no matter how hard they try, as soon as they see eachother apparently everything erases. She is around the family 24/7 and that can't change... I need to help her..any advice?

Why can't that change? She needs to quit this babysitting job and get the hell out of there, no looking back. If she really wanted out of this affair that is what she would do. Honestly is she an adult? You don't say ages so I have no idea how to address this, if this girl is a teenager that is sick and this guy is a perverted sex offender. If this girl is in her 20s that is still sick as he is married with kids. I would hope an adult (either him or the girl) would have better self control than this. This is sickening, reading it makes me lose faith in adults. I'm only 21 but damn I think I'm a hell of a lot more mature than this gal sounds.
I'm not sure if this "friend" is you or not, some people claim it is a friend's problem when really it is their own problem... so if it is you, shame on you and grow up. This is nothing but lust and she is going to ruin a marriage, and how do you think these kids are going to feel when they are old enough to understand what happened, that their babysitter was a slut and their father was a perverted old goat? Think of the children, think how you would feel if your father did this to you. It could potentially really screw these kids up for life.
If this really isn't you and you are telling me the truth, sit this sicko girl down and pretty much tell her straight on that this is SICK. This is wrong, and she's being an imamature selfish little bitch. It is nothing but lust and lack of self control on both this husband/father and her part, and its disgusting. Ask her how she would feel if her husband cheated on her WITH A BABYSITTER! The person you trust to be watching your children. Then make her realize what she will be doing to these kids. If she wants to keep the job the kids must be pretty good kids. Well guess what? She is royally f*cking up their lives. Real mature.
Sure these kids apparently have a sick father too. And he will probably move on after the affair with the babysitter is over and find another hot slut to chase after... but it shouldn't be a babysitter.
I just hope your friend isn't too young, because I'm imagining a 25 year old woman or above and am disgusted to no end. If this friend of yours is younger I think I would puke. This is a sick situation. Tell her to get the f*ck OUT of there. I don't care why she thinks she has to stay... tell her to approach the parents when the mother is there too, ask for whatever money they owe her, and tell her to say for personal reasons she has to quit the job, and go find another job. There is no reason except for sick lust and selfishness that she needs to stay. No reason at all. NONE.
