I had this one day thing with a guy. He started to flirt with me and ask questions about me but I retrieved because I'm very shy and uptight. The thing is that I have a HUGE crush on him because he's good looking, very smart, has a great smile and a career-you know the WHOLE package. So, I emailed him ( note: he didn't give it to me, I found it) and I tried to kid around a bit, but no flirting, none of that. He was just curteous in his reply. I was heartbroken because I though he was gonna get all flirtatious in his email. So, after 4 months he decided to email me, just asking how I was doing. I was struck, and I replied as honestly as I could but I didn't flirt. The thing is that he hasn't replied and its been 3 weeks! He's driving me crazy because I have no idea of what he wants or if he really like me. Why is he emailing so late? My aunt says its because he's an arrogant man who thinks himself to be a gorgeous man and who wants ME to show interest in HIM. Either way, my friends say its wrong because I'm 18 and he's 28. I just wanna know what he's thinking, why is he doing this-does he really like me or is he just a flirt? How should I handle this situation-should I flirt in my emails or even try to email him again?
Honey, move on. Find a REAL man. One who exists in your life physically, not just via some text on a computer screen. He was probably having some harmless fun, it happens a lot. Date someone who isn't just a bunch of dots on a screen, and forget about this high school crush. Its nothing more than an obsessive crush on something you know you can't have, and the sooner you realize that and move on, the better you will feel.
