Kevin, you sound very egocentric -- assuming that you and your "friend" are the reasons why Gregg created this new layout. Believe it or not, the whole world doesn't revolve around you.
How many posts have we seen on the teen boards in recent weeks that have been devoted to nothing but graphic sexual language? Posting those on the TEEN boards instead of the SEX boards is categorized as "abusing" the power to post.
How many posts have we seen lately that everyone agree were hoax posts? Well, guess what? Hoax posts are also classed "abusive".
And, even if you don't agree with the definition of "abuse", think about this: how many posts have you seen lately that complain because the hoax posts, fake posters, etc. were cluttering the boards and people who needed advice couldn't get real help? When it gets so bad that you can't find the real posts for all the fake ones, that's a big clue that something needs to be done.
I'd say ALL of these were reasons for the change; and, while I don't exactly like the new look myself, I applaud Gregg for taking steps to fix the problems on this site.

This is all the fault of the immature jerks who would make useless and senseless posts directed to attack other people. Why must we pay for the faults of others? I really liked the old site better and I'd prefer that Gregg change it back, but I respect Gregg's decision as he pays for us to visit and enjoy this site. Somehow could we respectly let him know our thoughts?

hello. As you may already know, I am one of the people who was involved in a, uh, 'abusive' message. Actually, I am great friends with the other who was involved. I see no reason for you to change this layout. With technology these days, you could track 'abusive' people with out changing the layout. When I first posted with this new look, I was wondering what this new post thing was for. Then when I couldnt find my post, I was not too pleased when I found where they go to now. I am glad though that you put up this post so people can complain. Therefore, I still see no reason for you to change this layout. And if you are thinking of banning me or my friend, we never did any 'abusive' messages. Abusive. You do not even know the meaning of the word. 'Abusive messeges'. You must be desperate. Believe me, there may be new people, but we will always complain about this problem. I personally am very dissapointed in the actions taken by the people affiliated with this site and how to change it. Very dissapointed. And you have probably done the same on other sites yourself. I personally would like it to go back. Some of us actually post stuff and expect it to show up where it belongs and it doesn't. I posted personal problems and people who I dont want to know will find out. That is all I can say for the moment. I will be back though to talk. The tracking has nothing to do with putting your email. Unless I miss my guess, this new website logs I.P. addresses, so Gregg can tell who made what posts. It would also give him the power to ban people using their I.P. address.
And, as for people stopping coming to this site. So what? Some old ones may leave, but some new ones will come in...the site isn't going to die just because you don't like the layout. Truth be known, I don't like it either, BUT I expect I'll be fine with it once I get used to it. The same goes for everyone else, as well.

its horrible! change it back!! this is so much harder and other dont answer our new questions they only answer our old ones..... im sorry to say this but if you dont change it back people will stop going on this site..... like my friends are already thinking of not using it anymore!
