I have made varsity my freshman year in basketball. I am sort of quiet, but say REALLY stupid stuff, and talk to little or too much in from of this guy I like. He is always at the gym, but talks to me and so do his friends. I beat them all when I play- except the guy I like. He is just the perfect all around guy. Never says anything to hurt you, and is always fair when he plays and is good natured to everyone. I like him so much. But then there is this other girl who my friends all say he likes. She is exactly like him, only female. She is impossible to be mad at. But I like this guy A LOT. I am a girl, who just likes to hide behind hoodies, just like he hides behind his friends.
Is is because I have spikey hair, and wear sweats and hoodies that no one liks me? Am I too guyish? I am sick of never going to dances because I am too imbarassed!!!!Please help!! Even critisim will help, I really need an answer. Should I change?

one thing , dont ever change for a guy. it is not worth it and u will jut end up loosing all ur friends prob.

see, i dont think u need to change a thing about yourself...i mean, if the guy doesnt like you for who you are, he's not worth having at all...and dont worry about the other girl, just because she may be more like him more than you are, that might not mean any thing to the guy you like. you see, guys are weird that way, they show one emotion towards people, but mean something completely different, trust me girl, i've had my share of bad boyfriends and it isnt fun when you find out how they really are...so just go with your heart and if you really like him, go for it, but like i said, dont worry about the other girl! oh, and congradulations on making varsity your freshman year...good for you!

Don't change anything about yourself. If someones gonna like you let it be for who you are, because you don't want to be someone your not. I'd go and talk to the dude if i were you ask him how he feels. Best of Luck and God Bless.
