Title: what signal to use?

I have this guy that i really like, and latly he's been giving me some signals, but i don't get them until later, and when i do get them i don't know what to do back.
He came over my house on night and was looking at a picture of my mom, aunt and grandma, so my mom asked him which one he thought was the cutest out of them....so he points to my grandma. Then he looks at a picture of me when i was like 7 with BIG fluffy hair and looks at me and says " Oh, but i think that she looks cuter though...." and looks at me and smiles. He even said that with my mom standing there, i didn't get it tell later on.
another night, him and another guy were counting money and me and his mom came in and were joking that the money was for pizza. Then all of the sudden he says " Do you think this is enough for a dress?"
i thought he was still joking so i was like " no i don't think so." later after i said that i thought 'WEDDING DRESS????'
he didn't bring it up again. He's been giving me a whole lot of signs, i just want to know what i can do back to him to let him know i like him also.
any signal that would triger it or somthing. please help.
