Title: Asking a guy out twice

By: billy123

Hello im 18 years old and i have a crush on a guy that works at the supermarket. Everytime i go in there i seem to catch his eye. I dont know if he's just looking at me because he recongnises me or he's looking because he's attracted or he's a bit interested in me, i don't know. Slight problem i don't even know the guy, but theres something about him that im intrigued with and want to know what he's like. I've had a few brief chats with him while on the checkout but nothing out of the ordinary. I get very shy and nervous.

A few days ago i causally asked him if he was going out on tuesday night. He said "im not to sure yet are you" i said "ummmm maybe" He said something like i've been working heaps so i haven't gone out for awhile. Then he said "yer its my mates birthday so i might go. Then i said "maybe we can catch up" I can't remember but i think he said yer that was pretty much it and i said maybe i'll see you on tuesday.

Went out tuesday night and he didn't go. quite cut because i wanted him to go so i could talk to him outside of his work. I know i didn't say a definant yes but you could tell that i was going and interested in him, i should of asked for his number at work but i was to nervous and i wasn't sure if he was keen or not. I wanted him to go and i thought he would of but he didn't. I don't know if he has a g/f, he could very well...is there any major signs that he is taken and any major signs that he may be interested in me?

I dont know if i should go back to his work and be as direct as i can be and ask him if he's keen to go out on a date with myself. Its so hard because he's at work and people are lining up so its very hard. Any thing i could do to make its smooth maybe slip my number or something...i dont' know please help if i should ask him out again or i should leave the guy alone. Please help very confused.

thanks

julia
