Title: does he like me?

Hi peeps. Hey, well see my best friend and i have known eachother since 6th grade.And i mean he always says that he likes this girl at school, and he turns red when he's around her. But, it's weird, i don't exactly "like, like" him, it's just that last year he admitted that he had had a huge crush on me! but he had 'supposedly' gotten over it. but ever since i met him in 6th grade we have been really close, we call eachother brother and sister, and we hang out even though we don't have any school classes together, and we talk all the time, and we know eachothers depest secrets, and we are so comfortable with eachother, we practically finish eachtothers sentences! He is an unusually sweet person, he cares, and he doesn't do what others guys do, he doesn't go with trends, but even if he is unique, everyone in the school likes him. But if though he 'supposedly' likes this other girl (sam), he seems to pay speacial attention to me when i'm talking or, i have something to show. i just don't know what to do with him, or myself, i don't know if i should "like, like" him, or if i should stay the same way. it's just all so confusing. can anyone help me???1 i am grateful for any advice!
