hi everyone. Well, i know this is going to be a stupid question but i just want everyone elses opinion. Okay here it goes: Alot of my friends have told me that this one guy likes me (John M.) and that he has liked me off and on for the past few months. He has been giving signs that he does, yet he also can totally hate me one day then be flirting with me the next. Well i've been (for the past few months) been unsure whether he was interested. Until today in 6th period (at the end when we were both at our lockers getting our things.. his is right beside mine) anyways, when he he turned caustiously toward me and asked me if i was going to a class event (our language arts teacher booked an open mich. night at the Antique Sandwich Store, and john was going to be singing there.).. he didn't ask casually as though he's been asking everyone, no he asked sort of nervous like.. As though he had just barely worked up the courage to ask, which is unusual for him cause' he's not normally a shy person, cause' he's performed (singing) many times, and had not really been shy towards anyone.. Well i told him no and that i couldn't make it. He sort of mummbled "Oh", then got up quickly and left.. Earlier that day my language arts teacher had said that he (John) was going to be singing a song his father wrote, and dedicating it to his mom, and that he was inviting quite a few people.. But after the way John had acted at the lockers, it made me think that he was going to be singing to me more than to his mother if i had gone. Cause' everytime i do go to something that he's singing at he's always catching my eye and blushing (a bit).. I do sing myself, but i'm not nearly as good as John. What does this mean? hey all the signs are there I really think he likes you! do you like him? y not ask him out 2 watch a movie or something and see what he says coz the worst thing he could say is no and you never know it could blossom into a beautiful love! :D good luck xx

Yeah he usually is around a certain group of friends. But even then i catch him glancing over to me when they aren't looking. But when he isn't I catch him staring at me, but he looks at me just sort of striaght with no certain emotion showing in his face.. It confuses me so much.. But thanx for replying!

Sorry about that. Umm, well. If you aren't sure...John M...hmmm....sounds familiar...M...anyways, if you aren't sure, just get to know him better then ask him in a way that isn't straitforward. And when he can be a jerk to you, is he around a certain group of friends or something?
