Hey. I've been dating the guy that I love, for about six months. I grow attached really easily and I grew attached to him, but anyways...We talk but a lot of times we run out of things to talk about. It upsets me because I know we have something special and we'll be together a while...What should I do?

I wouldn't worry silence can be a good thing, believe me after you have been with him a while you will be wanting him to shut up and not talk... lol... No if I was you I would ask him is something wrong, or see if you have done something to make him so quiet, I'm sure its nothing maybe you are both just shy.

you know silence isnt that bad....awkward silence is.im assuming either one of you is an introvert...and if he is you have to like sort of make the effort.maybe he has a lot to say but just cant...you sort of have to let him think that ur comfortable with him talking about anything.the trick is to have fun.i know this sounds stupid but play funny games with him on phone.talk about funny childhood incidents, embarrasing moments, what ur scared of etc etc.dont be boring!!!...HAVE FUN Kimberly

when you run out of things to talk about, ask him questions. Ask him what his hobbies are, things he's done that day. Ask him his opinion on things. Have a meaningful conversation. Ask him things that show you're really truly interested in him and what his outlook is. good luck!
