Hi, ok, here's the issue: I realize it's REALLY long, but read and reply, PLEASE!
There's this guy at my school, he's in 11th while i'm in 10th, but he's two years older than me (and 2 months and 2 days). I think he likes me, in fact, I'm really sure that he does. The thing is, I dont think I like him.
This guy is a really good friend of mine, and I dont want to hurt him by telling him i dont like him (from what i tell, this may hurt him pretty bad.. but not because it's me. He's a great guy. Funny, loving, sensitive. Different. It's just... nothings there for me.
Another is that i dont want to get pulled into a relationship. I dont want a boyfriend or to be in love.. funny as it sounds. It'd be too much.
But, back to the guy. Like I said, he's really great, and I dont want to hurt him, but i dont want to end up in something that i dont want happening.
Oh and, by the way, if you tell me to wait for him to do something.. it isnt gonna happen. I've kind of caught the drift he's waiting for me.
What should I do? Should i see, by maybe asking him to dance or whatever, if maybe i could like him? Am I missing a chance? I want both of us to be happy. As far as i can see, we cant both be at once.
Please help! Thanks.

whatever you do, don't wait and see if you COULD like him-the fact is, you dont like him the way he likes you. If he starts sending stronger signals that he does in fact like you, let him know how you feel and tell him it would probably work out better for the both of you if you were just friend. Dont lead him on, and when (or if) he decides to do something about he feels about you, just turn around and say oh, i dont like you like that...that would break his heart-and that's the last thing you want to do!
