I'm an average girl and i do cheerleading, but i have a crush on a really popular guy and i'm not way up there, i see him stare at me from across the room a lot, but i'm not sure... Do you think he may like me?

It's perfectly fine if the girl makes the first move. It just shows that you're really into him. If you're not sure if he likes you or not, show that you like him. Flirt a little. Who cares if you're not the most popular girl, but stand out from the rest of them. You know?
