there's this guy I really find interest in...I didn't have much of a problem introducing myself...but, he's ever so shy. He doesn't make much eye contact and he's always seems in a hurry...So, I talked to his friend about it and apparently he gets very shy around girls...How do I get him to open up to me more without "bombarding" him with my presence?
well, he sounds a lot like me. Hmmm... I alwats get the sneaking suspicion that someone from here will be talking about me one day... Well, I agree with the being patient. But I have to add that he may be shy for a number of reasons. He doesn't know much about girls (no man does though) or anything like that (relationships and such); he isn't looking to be in a relationship or get intimate with someone yet; he is thinking of the well being of others and avoiding where he could hurt someone; he is just plain dumb and blind; uh... That's pretty much all I could think of. It could be that he is awed by the presence of females, and that he wants to open up but he doesnt know how. ...Hope that helps...

Not really a whole lot you can do here. You will have to be extra patient and he will realise that you want to be his friend and when he trusts you, I'm sure he will open up, if you try to rush it he may not allow himself to trust you. We are all different, he probably wishes he was more like you, maybe you wish you were a little more like him. Be patient, anything worth while is never straight forward.
