there is this guy i really like at my religious group [we're the head people of the group along with other people our age to teach younger kids about god]. i'm a freshmen in college this year while he is a senior, and as far as i know he is single.
anyway, it seems that he sort of likes me because of the long stares, along with smiles, that we do when we're together. but, i've never been much into the dating pool, so i forget how to tell if a guy likes you or not. if he can stare me right in the eye, then is that a sign?
lastly, i want to give him hints that i like him, but i don't know how to express it w/o the other people in our group guessing that i like him.

The Staring you in the eye bit diffently seems like he likes you...ask if he wants to hang out with you alone or with some of your friends too if you feel uncomfortable being alone at first
