Title: Simplify my Confusion?

By: Chrysta44

This all begins before summer began.
I started playing soccer on a local houseleague team. At first, I had absolutely NO iterest in my assistent soccer coach. He was your typical guy. He was nice, smart, funny, good-looking and just really interresting to talk to. As I got to know him better, I naturally, began to really like him.

Finally, after I thought I received clues that we might be able to have a relashionship (We spent time alone in the swimming pool and in the hot tub.
**At the end of the season soccer party.** We just talked and flirted the whole time.), I told him how I felt. He went on and on about how I was attractive, funny, smart and blablablabla...
Then he said he couldn't have a relashionship with me because of the age difference and the fact that he was my assist. coach. He also added that if the situation was different, he would be telling me something completly different.

What does he mean? Does he have feelings for me?
I'm a mature girl, so I'm not really worried about age difference and technically he's not my coach anymore. And we still communicate over the internet and when he comes to my high-school to referee games we talk a lot.

I've been in relashionships before, some bad and some good, but I really like this guy and I'm not willing to just let it go...I never stop thinking about him and I've noticed that my school marks have been dropping slightly.
What do you suggest I do?
How long should I wait around, or should I at all?
What should I expect from this?

Thanks so much,

Rachel

PS: He's 23 years old and I'm 16.
